John Hannah Statue

Location: Okemos, MI 48864, USA

Description:

John Hannah was president of MSU from 1941 to 1969. It was during his time as president that the controversies over Silent Spring and the dying robins of MSU raged. John Hannah was instrumental in MSU transforming from agricultural college to university. He also oversaw a period when MSU became more heavily focused on research into issues of importance to society. You now have a short distance to return to the MSU Museum.

We hope you have enjoyed the Silent Spring walking trail here at Michigan State University.
